Partner and Senior Education Consultant with TheRaabeGroup, LLC, Keturah has spent over 20 years in the field of Education. Considering her work a calling, Keturah has been gifted with a desire to help others learn using a variety of teaching techniques designed to enhance the learning experience for adult learners.
Keturah started her career as an Elementary Education teacher in Durham, NC after graduating from North Carolina Central University. After a successful teaching career, in which Keturah was recognized as Teacher of the Year and became certified to mentor Initially Licensed Teachers (ILT), Keturah decided to embark upon a career in teacher advocacy in Minnesota. As her work focused more on designing and delivering trainings to members and staff within Education Minnesota, Keturah became immersed in adult learning theory and earned a professional training certificate in Instructional Design and Training Delivery.
In addition to classroom-based training and facilitation, Keturah has been developing and delivering virtual instructor-led training (vILT) for over 10 years. Her initial interest in educational technology began in 2000 when she developed a computer-assisted curriculum to help students improve their reading comprehension skills. Since that time, Keturah has honed her virtual training skills by earning her MA in Educational Technology and a professional training certificate in Virtual Training.
Coaching novice teachers and trainers along their professional development journey, helping organizations develop and/or standardize training curriculum, implementing an online education program, and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to design training programs are a few highlights that Keturah counts among her many accomplishments.
In addition to her work, Keturah enjoys cheering on her favorite baseball team, the 2019 World Series Washington Nationals, serving her community through the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, singing, and spending quality time with her family.
